Every phase of growth is built on people.
Not just the strategy, the structure or the ambition, but the individuals who bring it to life every day.
Across Opera, that momentum continues.
There have been a series of promotions across the group, including 15 colleagues at Accuro earlier this year, Lisa Figueiredo at Meritus in February, five promotions at HFL last month and most recently, 14 at Oak. Each reflects the strength of the platform and the people driving it forward.
At group level, that same story continues.
Recognising impact at group level

Two promotions within the People and Culture function mark an important moment, not just for Holly Skillett and Shauna Gallienne, but for the continued evolution of Opera as a people-led organisation.
Holly Skillett – Senior Administrator
Since joining Oak over two years ago, Holly has become an integral part of the People and Culture team and the wider group.
Her role spans a broad range of activities and projects, but it is her consistency, work ethic and willingness to support others that define her impact. She brings a strong sense of reliability to everything she does, helping teams operate effectively and ensuring colleagues feel supported.
Her promotion recognises both her contribution and the way she approaches her work.
Shauna Gallienne – Senior Manager
Nearly five years with the group, Shauna has played a key role in shaping the People and Culture function.
She combines professionalism with a genuine focus on people, supporting colleagues across the organisation and contributing to a strong and positive culture. Her influence has been both meaningful and sustained.
Her promotion to Senior Manager reflects her leadership and the impact she continues to have across the group.
Progression as part of something bigger
These promotions form part of a wider pattern where growth creates opportunity and opportunity is matched with recognition.
As part of its long-term growth strategy under private ownership, Opera has introduced Opera Options, a long-term incentive plan that gives employees across the group the opportunity to share in the future success of the business. This reflects a clear commitment to recognising and rewarding talent at every level.
Ultimately, growth is not only measured in milestones, but in people and the opportunities they are given to develop alongside the business they help to build.
